报告题目：A Dimension Splitting Method for the 3D-PDEs

Abstract: As well known that there exist a lot of difficulties in numerical computation for the 3D PDEs, in particular for the 3D Navier-Stokes, such as nonlinearity; incompressible constraint condition; complex boundary geometry; boundary layer. In order to overcome the last two difficulties, we proposed a “Dimension Splitting Method”, which is to split the three dimensional complex flow problems into a series of two dimensional sub-problems, then obtain a nonlinear system with N 2D sub-problem to approximate the original 3D problem. Our method is different from the classical domain decomposition method since we only solve a 2D sub-problem in each sub-domain without solving 3D sub-problem.

黄艾香教授个人简介：

黄艾香教授，我国著名的计算数学家，西安交通大学数学与统计学院教授，博士生导师，享受国务院特殊津贴。1935年出生于福建上杭县，1956年北京师范大学毕业后分配到西安交通大学。1985年3月任副教授，同年11月升为教授。郑州大学兼职教授，龙岩学院客座教授。曾任中国计算数学学会常务理事，陕西计算数学学会理事长，陕西计算物理学会副理事长，现任陕西计算数学学会名誉理事长。2010年至2014年任中巴计数与应数交流会中方主席。2014年起被聘为中国科学出版社技术顾问。主要从事工程问题中的计算数学和应用数学研究。已完成国家部委纵向及横向课题18项,获部委及交大科研成果和科学进步奖14项。已发表论文100余篇，与他人合作编著书4本。1984年以来，先后十几次应邀到美、加、法、德、日、巴西、泰国、新加坡及香港、台湾、澳门等国家和地区的有关大学﹑研究单位讲学和合作研究。开设过“偏微分方程现代数值方法”，“有限元方法数学理论”，“张量分析及其应用”等十几门专业课程，培养硕士博士研究生近百名。被国际传记中心列入“世界知识分子名人录”，并被美国传记研究所委任为该所董事会顾问。
